Arnaldo Bayona is a graduate research assistant with the Construction Safety Research Alliance (CSRA) at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He holds a M.S. in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a Diploma in Civil Engineering from ESPOL University, where he worked as a lecturer prior to joining CSRA. Complementing his academic background, he has worked in construction as a contract administrator, project engineer, and construction management intern. His research aims to identify unique precursors of serious injuries and fatalities (SIF) and to measure the impact of safety interventions and their return on investment.
