Osman Saffia-Doe

Osman Saffia-Doe is a highly skilled Engineer with more than six years of both industrial and Academic experience.  He has a master’s degree in civil engineering from the Peoples friendship University of Russia. Osman’s experience spans across several domains ranging from building construction, highway construction, mining, research plus tutoring engineering courses at university level. He has successfully led several projects rising to the rank of a Project manager. He can ensure that these projects meet time, budget and specifications. As a licensed professional and a member of the SierraLeone institute of Engineers (SLIE), Osman regularly attend engineering conferences, discuss publications and contribute towards finding innovative and sustainable solution in today’s world of engineering. 

In addition to his Industrial experience, Osman is actively seeking to embrace cutting edge research in the field of engineering that will help solve some of the most pressing questions engineers are asking today. Currently, Osman is Serving as the Head of Department at of the faculty of engineering and Technology at the University of Lunsar. Osman is looking forward to continuing his career development in Academia and help mold the next generation of researchers.
