Sreeja Thallapureddy

Sreeja Thallapureddy is a PhD candidate at the University of Colorado Boulder. Before joining CU, Sreeja graduated with a Master's in Civil Engineering from Western Michigan University in 2020, working with Dr. Siddharth Bhandari studying the psychological factors that influence safety performance using multimedia safety training. Her current research with the CSRA furthers her work in psychology, collaborating with the Incident Investigation and Learning Team to explore and enhance the quality of the information collected during the process. Under the guidance of Dr. Fred Sherratt, Sreeja delivered a unique experiment focusing on incident investigation interviews, developing findings able to enhance the information collection process through the identification and mitigation of bias within the process. Sreeja is currently in the final stages of her PhD, with the goal of graduation in 2023.
