Alicia Edsen

Alicia Edsen is corporate safety director at Kiewit Corporation and is responsible for engaging the company’s more than 25,000 staff and craft employees in North America to help them operate safely. This includes partnering with Kiewit’s business units to effectively develop and implement industry-leading safety programs and deploy key initiatives. In addition to her current role, her experience includes field engineering, supervision and estimating roles; district & corporate leadership in human resources and an ERP transformation; and corporate talent development director – leading the technical, professional, leadership and craft development, including oversight of Kiewit University and the craft training center, the company’s two training facilities.

Alicia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University. She is a board member of National Construction Safety Executives, Construction Safety Research Alliance, Iowa State University’s Engineering College Industry Advisory Council and the National Center for Construction Education & Research.
