

Mike Quashne
Manager, Performance Assessment and Business Transformation • Baltimore Gas and Electric
Mike Quashne is the Performance Assessment and Business Transformation Manager for Baltimore Gas & Electric. In this role, he is responsible for leadership of BGE’s human performance improvement, corrective action, and SIF prevention programs. Mike’s unique leadership and mathematical background has allowed him to drive innovative solutions to reduce the risk of injury to employees in the field.
Prior to joining Baltimore Gas & Electric, Mike led the Human Performance program at PPL Electric Utilities and a regional transmission project management team. Mike also brings his previous experience as a US Air Force officer. His assignments during his service included leading personnel units, process improvement teams, and an assignment to US Air Force Headquarters in the Pentagon developing strategy and policy for workforce development.
Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy in 2007 and a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 2011. He is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, a Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) through the Utility Safety and Operational Leadership Network and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.
