Seth Washington

Seth has worked in the oil, gas, and chemical industry for more than 20 years. He holds a BS in Environmental Management, an MBA, and the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential, and he has a special interest in safety leadership and SIF prevention.

He currently serves as Environmental & Emergency Response Manager for Caturus, where he supports the company's upstream oil and gas assets and the construction of the Commonwealth LNG facility, helping prepare it for startup. His work centers on environmental compliance, emergency preparedness and response, and ensuring that people, processes, and systems are ready as assets move from construction to operations.

Seth's background spans major projects oversight, technical safety, process safety, emergency response, major incident investigation, auditing, safety culture enhancement, and the development of safety programs and digital tools. He has worked or consulted for LDEQ, Bureau Veritas, Hydrovac, BP, Waterbury Companies, and Cheniere Energy, where he led HSE teams supporting pipeline operations, major projects, spill cleanup, and remediation and served as a senior advisor on crisis and incident management responses.

When he is not working, you can find him in West Texas at his ranch enjoying it with family and friends.
