Mark Henderson

Mark Henderson is the Safety Director for McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. Renewable Energy business unit.  He is a certified safety professional (CSP) and construction health safety technician (CHST), has an AAS in Turfgrass Management, and a Journeyman Carpenter Certificate. He has over a decade of experience in commercial construction and general contracting work and has been with McCarthy since 2016. Since his start with McCarthy, Mark has gained a wealth of experience in utility-scale solar generation.  

In his current role as Safety Director, Mark is the safety leader for the Renewable Energy business unit and oversees all renewable energy projects and teams nationally. Creating a Positive Safety Culture with large workforces across the country has been a passion of Mark’s and has been instrumental in maintaining safe projects.   

Mark recently participated in the CSRA Safety Culture: Measuring the Unmeasurable project.
