Reese Fortin

HSE Manager at Sundt Construction 

Reese has dedicated her career to engaging, mentoring, and inspiring people to truly value safety. In her more than 15 years of construction safety management, she has lead dozens of safety professionals and hundreds of construction projects from California to Texas. Currently, she leads a team of safety managers, ensures the safe construction of Sundt’s building projects in the southwest region and is a key player in managing corporate safety initiatives.  

She is the acting chairwoman of the Arizona Construction Safety Council (AGC & ABA) where she promotes safety with Arizona’s contractors. Since graduating from Fresno State in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Occupational Health & Safety and Industrial Hygiene, she has attained numerous credentials from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (CSP, ASP, CHST, STSC). 

In 2023, she excitedly joined the CSRA’s two-year-research project on safety culture. She was truly honored to participate in the research, and you’ll see her passion for her team’s work live on stage.
