Bill Paolello

Bill Paolello manages the Performance Assessment Group at Pepco Holdings. During his 20 years at Pepco, he has played a key role in implementing the Energy Wheel and Safety Classification and Learning Model, managing major safety projects, and facilitating best practices across the organization. Bill has conducted several significant safety data analyses, recommended mitigation strategies, and developed impactful communication materials for executive and board reports. He has also established internal processes for collecting key performance indicator data, designed Power BI dashboards to enhance data accessibility, and collaborated with corporate communications to generate actionable safety messages. More recently, he has been championing the utilization of Operational Learning and Learning Teams at PHI to engage workers in understanding and improving safety and operational excellence.
