John Kovach

John Kovach is currently a Lead Safety Advisor for Eversource Energy. He is responsible for Occupational Health and Safety for both internal and contractor work groups within the gas business. He has been a key member in contributing to and implementing a Safety Management System along with energy-based hazard analysis.  

John has over a decade of experience in Occupational Safety and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He is a member of the United States Coast Guard Reserve and graduate of their Marine Safety School and responsible for maritime environmental and safety missions. He has experience with incident management and response through Eversource, US Coast Guard and experience as a Volunteer Firefighter in his hometown. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Justice, Law, and Business Administration from Western Connecticut State University.
