Seth Werling

Seth Werling works as Senior Safety Manager for a leading utility contractor where he oversees safety performance across distribution, transmission, substation, and civil operations. With over a decade of experience in utility safety, he leads a team of safety professionals and works closely with operational leadership to align safety strategies with field execution. 

Seth holds Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) credentials, and earned his bachelor’s degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2010. 

His work emphasizes the use of science-based approaches to safety and the development of practical tools that frontline personnel can understand and apply effectively. As a member of the CSRA, Seth contributes to advancing safety through collaboration and shared learning. He believes that strong safety culture is built through teamwork, clear communication, and consistent support of those closest to the work.
