Jayme Hobson

General Manager of Decommissioning

Jayme Hobson is the General Manager of Decommissioning for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), where she leads large-scale demolition operations across TVA’s footprint. With over 15 years of leadership experience in both the utility and construction sectors, she brings a deep background that includes work on Department of Energy contracts and leadership roles with AECOM and URS. Jayme is a member of TVA’s Operational Leadership Team and is recognized for her expertise in operational risk management and executing high-hazard work safely and effectively. She serves on the board of the Construction Safety Research Alliance and has advised the U.S. Secretary of Labor on federal occupational safety and health. One of her most meaningful honors is the Safety and Health Advancement Award from IMPACT and the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Ironworkers an award that reflects her deep commitment to the people doing the work, whom she considers her number one customer. She is passionate about applying data-driven strategies to improve safety outcomes and fostering a culture of trust and accountability in the field.
