Master's Student
Emi is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at CU Boulder in Civil Engineering studying Construction Engineering and Management. They earned their Bachelor’s degree from CU Boulder in Integrated Design Engineering with an emphasis in Environmental Engineering in the spring of 2023. They began working with the CSRA as an undergraduate research assistant on our “Safety Culture: Measuring the Unmeasurable” project and will be assisting with that project until its completion. Prior to joining the CSRA, Emi had been a research assistant with the Predictive Science Academic Alliance Program (PSAAP) experimenting with novel materials and developing ways to infer material properties based on laser vibrometry data. They have also worked as a research assistant for CU Boulder’s Center for Sustainable Landscapes and Communities on a project to improve Boulder’s wildfire safety by assessing Boulder residents’ attitudes and behaviors regarding wildfire risk management strategies.
