Mohammad Yaqoob Raheemy

PhD Student

With over five years of diverse experience as a skilled project manager and planning engineer with construction companies and consultancies in the UK and Afghanistan, Yaqoob Raheemy brings a wealth of expertise to the academic realm. Yaqoob's academic journey includes a Master's degree in Construction Project Management from Birmingham City University in England, UK, and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Kabul University in Kabul, Afghanistan. Yaqoob also holds esteemed certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, as well as being a full member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM) in the UK and an Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) certified by the Institute of Sustainable Infrastructure.

Currently, Yaqoob is engaged as a graduate research assistant, contributing to the "High Energy: Controlling the Uncontrollable" research project. This project will explore why direct controls are sometimes challenging; how to determine if an alternative work plan is sufficient; and how to continuously monitor the state of high-energy when workers are exposed.
