Roya Raeisinafchi

Roya Raeisinafchi is a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder. She commenced her academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from K.N. Toosi University of Technology, followed by a Master’s degree in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Tehran. During her master’s program, she developed a keen interest in the safety aspects of the construction industry and concentrated her research on the critical role of site supervision systems in enhancing the safety performance of construction projects. In her present role at CSRA, Roya is deeply involved with the “Science of Safety Training” project. This project seeks to explore which safety training delivery methods in the construction industry are the most effective for optimizing knowledge acquisition and retention. Additionally, the project explores the potential differences in learning and retention rates across diverse demographic groups. Roya graduates in December 2024. After graduation, she intends to join the industry, leveraging her academic insights, continuing her learning journey, and contributing to creating a safer industry environment.
